The most shocking college football video of the year:
No, I'm not talking about the ref blatantly tackling a South Carolina player. The shocking thing about this video is that it was not a Pac-10 official.
Go Phillies. Yeah, I said it. For one, I have a high school friend that supports the Phils. Also, the Tampa Bay area needs another championship about as much as Alex Rodriguez needs another 100 dollar bill. Think about it: they have a Super Bowl title, and a Stanley Cup all within the last ten years. The city of Seattle hasn't won a major sports championship since before I was born.
And don't get me started on the lack of fan support the Rays got this year. On August 27th, in the middle of a heated pennant race, Tampa Bay only drew 12,678 fans for a game against the Blue Jays. Let me put that into perspective: 25,118 showed up to watch the Cougs get curb-stomped by USC on Saturday. I respect the die-hard Rays fans, the 2,000 or so people that suffered through years of awful baseball and are now reaping the benefits. But the rest of the bandwagon can buzz off.
Who do you think has more passionate fans - Philadelphia or Tampa Bay? It's no contest.
And I said this earlier, but I can't stand another expansion team winning a World Series before the M's. Be glad they eliminated the Red Sox Nation (namely their fans, not the team), and move on. Let's go Phillies!
That's all for now.
