Stupid Polls

This doesn't matter, but since I like seeing WSU's name in the polls, this bugs me.

2-loss USC is still ranked above us in the AP. They're #35 (18 points), we're #38 (13 points). UW didn't receive any AP votes.

UCLA is #13 in the AP with ASU at #14. That's absurd considering that ASU has looked far from dominant (even though they haven't lost).

We find ourselves at #31 in the coaches (15 points), which is ahead of USC. UW got a point. From someone.

But only two Pac-10 teams ranked? I feel like I'm looking at the football poll.

Kansas 44 UW 28 with 1427 left to play.

When the West Coast is down, no one on the East Coast gives a damn

Just the way it is. I’m amazed there are still three teams ranked in the Pac.

Glad someone else gets annoyed at those stupid polls.

But its just that time of year where your only real hope of moving up significantly is by beating a ranked or nearly ranked team. Xavier beat No. 12 Memphis and moved up into the top 25, so if we end up beating a top ten Pitt team, there’s no doubt we will move into the top 25. It just stinks right now because blowing out bad teams is really only good for a few more votes each week.
