Motum -> WSU

The 2008 recruiting class is complete with the addition of Brock Motum*, a 6'9" Australian power forward.

Without going into too much detail, this is huge for the Cougs for two reasons: 1) we desperately needed one more big man in next year's class, and 2) it keeps the Australian pipeline going even after Baynes graduates this year.

Here's what Grippi had to say
The 6-foot-9 power forward is reportedly something special, though we haven’t seen him play, of course. A former college basketball coach now in broadcasting told a friend he believes Mouton could be one of the better players to come from Australia. When we contact the freshman-to-be, we’ll pass along his comments. Early signing day is next Wednesday.

If that’s true, this is spectacular news. Between returnees Casto, Boeke and Watson, and 2008 classmate David Chadwick, that’s a heck of a lot of talent up front.

And here's a brief bio

From the Australian Institute of Sport. You might remember Baynes came from AIS, as did NBA top pick Andrew Bogut and Vandy star Andrew Ogilvy.
