Painful (but totally justified) to see you picked Baylor over the Cougs. Given that this is one of our two “well, at least we have a chance in _” games — not counting the always a toss-up Apple Cup — it certainly drives home how abysmal this season has been… And shines a spotlight into the precipice of where we could very likely end up.

Like most Cougs I’d trade Baylor AND Portland State (and the rest of the schedule) for a win in the Apple Cup. But still, this season is pretty bleak. I hate to think how much worse off I’d be feeling if my beloved Mariners hadn’t already numbed me to feeling no emotion from sports over the last 5 1/2 months…
