I wasn’t really paying attention to the # of steps Kyle took…therefore I voted for him to be in the final four.

A couple years ago

I would have voted Sterk, but in 2008 all he really did was “keep Tony in Pullman,” though various reports give him varying degrees of responsibility for doing that. Well, I guess he also hired Wulff (was that done before january, I forget), but he ALSO stole seats from the students, which oh by the way were NOT anywhere close to full for the non-con games, except Gonzaga.

Weaver note: in the team-who-shall-not-be-named ‘s last seven games, Weaver has come off the bench to average 16 minutes, 4 points on 58% shooting, 2 boards and 2 assists to only 1 turnover. He’s getting better all the time!

Tony Bennett for Heisman!

Actually...

I think the students stole the seats from themselves you know when 2,500 didn’t show up to BIG games last year. And we were not sold out of student seats for Baylor or Gonzaga so really…it wouldn’t matter whose seats those were, people wouldn’t have filled them.

In any case, I still voted for Weaver.

Well

Location-wise, people would have filled them, so instead of a big empty section behind the basket the upper rafters wouldn’t quite have been filled. I think we can all agree that students being fifteen feet from the court are more likely to make noise and get involved than students up in the nosebleed section.

If you can fill them with paying customers, then fine, I actually would agree to a point with it. But otherwise, let the students have the lower seats and let the nosebleed sections stay empty, if not for the fans then at least for the noise factor.

Tony Bennett for Heisman!

All Because of Sterk

Without Sterk there would be no Weaver. Sterk brought the Bennetts here…Genius. Lets not put the cart before the horse.

Sterk also brought in Wulff, who just landed the best recruit in the state and has the best recruiting class since 2000. You all have to remember this is Pullman. We aren’t exactly on the national map. Sterk is doing something right.

Gotta be Sterk

Weaver is my favorite cougar player, but sterk is more important to athletics here at WSU. He doesn’t desire to leave to go elsewhere to a bigger budget school either, which people often forget.
