Weaver, Low - How I miss thee

Those guys were studs. Thanks for the memories. It is going to take a while for our young guys to mature and improve. I wish there were some way to rapidly climb the learning curve.

It's amazing how quickly you forget how awesome somebody was

Then again, it’s not too hard to look ridiculously awesome next to what’s currently on the floor.

Nuss watching the digression of your attitude toward coug basketball has been sad

but strangely comforting because I think it is how we all have felt. We all looked forward to this season so much, but it can be described as nothing but dissapointing.

I wouldn't call it digression of attitude

more acceptance of reality.

Nuss’ attitude is still fresh and passionate. He is just growing into realization, as we all are, that this team was better offensively when Marcus Moore was playing. Ouch.

I'm still excited about the program

But it’s been frustrating to watch this season. The journalist in me just won’t allow myself to look at everything with rose colored glasses. This offense is really terrible, and right now it’s got us heading for an eighth or ninth place finish in the conference. That’s a pretty big drop when we thought we might be able to get as high as third or fourth. There was no reason to expect it to be this bad.

Maybe we should have taken a clue from Tony when he asked if Coug fans would have patience while the team rebuilds. I’m not losing patience. I’m just disappointed and looking for answers like everyone else.
