As usual you can listen to the audio via the player below, or visit our podcast page for myriad subscription options. You can also find us in the iTunes directory under keyword "CougCenter." The advantage of subscribing? Besides having the audio directly delivered to your player of choice, I often upload the audio to the podcast site before posting it here. Ooooh! Can I play?

1) Two wins out of the remaining games. Ucla and perhaps OSU
2) Your entire OL — I fear the problems are bigger than one player
3) Over
4) Under
5) Over (Cal has trouble stopping anyone)
6) Not sure … would ASU over Furd be considered an upset?
7) Game prediction: Cal 38 WSU 24

Yes you can play!

And yes, ASU would be considered an upset, as the Trees are favored by 7.

I don’t know how in the world you think we’ll score 24 points, but I’ll take it.

Have you seen Cal’s defense?

Have you SEEN our offense?

I’m pretty sure you’re not going to win this argument.

We got 6 takeaways vs ASU and scored 10 points.

The only two I have strong predictions about is we will get more than 2 turnovers, and we will score less than 14 points.

Vote for Butch!

See, here’s the thing. I get all about how you guys are feeling the pain (believe me, as a Cal fan from decades back, I know about feeling the pain), but all I have to say is: Ucla hung 26 on us. U-c-l-freaking-a. They haven’t scored 26 points on the whole season until then! You guys are at least as good as they are. Besides, if Wulff has seen any game film he knows all he needs to do is run some bubble screens and TE in the seams and you’re golden.

24 points. At least.

(and, for the record, you are this close to replacing Oregon as my 2nd fave team)

I like this over and under thing because

in a garbage season, I would rather be the first one making fun ourselves rather than allowing others like UW to do it first.
1. Under on Best. He will be sitting the 2nd half out with them up 35-0. He will have 150 yds and 5 TDs by halftime and won’t need to come back in. Not a lot of yds when you start on your opponents side of the field all the time
2. Over. Cal’s backups will definitely turn it over and Riley will be good for 1 pick in the first half.
3. Over. We have seen what Cal’s backups look like as half of them are on our 1-5 team! We should easily run over their 2nd string in the fourth qtr to finish with 17 pts!

I haven’t listened yet, but ripping on Memorial is probably fair, especially if you’re talking about the bathrooms. May God have mercy on the soul of any poor human who needs to take a #2 inside Memorial Stadium.

Yeah, it was mostly the portapotties

And the speakers obstructing the view, and the horrifically uncomfortable benches. But, on the bright said, I gave you guys props for having some of the nicest fans. That counts for a lot, right?

Memorial Stadium

It does need some work, but it has a great atmosphere. Was down there one year and as we were at the top of the bowl heading down to our seats, a Cal student was puking into one of the big barrel garbage cans. Made it feel like home and warmed the cockles on my heart ;oP
