AUDIO: Ball, Walden on KJR with Furness
Co-defensive coordinator Chris Ball and radio analyst Jim Walden joined 950-AM KJR's Ian Furness for their weekly spots on his show in Seattle.
Ball talked a bit about the Cal game (the blown assignments were baffling), the Notre Dame game (Jimmy Clausen is like an older Matt Barkley and he recruited Golden Tate while at Alabama), and how frustrated everyone is with the slow starts and just overall subpar play. It's short and to the point, and I think reveals a bit of growing frustration for the coaching staff.
Walden starts out by saying its time for the players to stop using youth as an excuse and start executing, then moves into sizing up Jeff Tuel (he loves his competitiveness and the confidence he brings to the offense) before looking ahead to Notre Dame and taking the coaches to task for their egregious voting in their poll.

Wait hasn't it been Walden who is has been screaming at us to
be patient. Maybe Jimbo is getting a little tired of everything he is seeing on the field. I say we get stripper cheerleaders and bring them to San Antonio. It worked in the Replacements!
My new sig line will be “Looking forward to the day that Nuss tells me I told ya so!”
