Then why didn't you come to school here?
Grippi profiles the Desmond/Marcus Trufant angle to the Apple Cup: the new sibling rivalry within a rivalry.
Rivalry or not, Desmond admits WSU is still special to him as well.
"I can’t lie," he said. "Deep down inside, I do have a love for the Cougars."
*Bangs head on table*
And, yes, he does answer the question in the title of my post in the interview with Grippi. But that doesn't mean I have to like it.

This isn't the first brother legacy to go another way
Bledsoe went to CU, Leaf went to Oregon, Long went to Oregon. Of those Long was the biggest loss. Were there others? I wish Trufant good luck. If reports are true WSU really scored getting Nolan Washington. I thought we would get Trufant but I like Washington, Simmons, and Heyward. Carpenter as well if he ends up at corner.
Who would voluntarily live in Pullman...at least with an offer from UW?
I think Sark’s haircut is the real reason though, it’s always perfect and there’s just the right amount of product. Hard to turn down a guy sporting that mop.
"Attending WAZZU is great preparation for real life. It teaches you not to expect too much."
- Don James.
He plays for NICK HOLT
If that doesn’t set you up for failure, I don’t know what does. I wonder if they told Desmond that he’d be thrown under the bus if the scheme is terrible.
