Cougs land a JC basketball guard
The Cougars landed a 6-4 JC guard from Florida. Don't have a Cougfan subscription and I couldn't really find any information on him, so maybe somebody else can shed some light on who he is.

Interesting
I’ll have a Coug Commit writeup on him in the next 24 hours. The most interesting question, of course, is … where’s the scholarship going to come from?
I have no idea
They said they might be adding another player, but it wasn’t clear how they were going to make that happen.
He played HS ball in Texas and originally committed to New Mexico St. in 2008
sounds good-
“He averaged 20 points per game last year and has been named a 2nd Team Pre-season JC All-American.”

I think people are right about Enquist being the guy unless
someone transfers. Enquist was a walk-on and my position as a coach would be that it would be a year to year decision (which under NCAA rules, is actually how all schollies work even for recruited guys).
What mine concern is size! I really haven’t heard great things about Watson and therefore I am concerned that we don’t have the size necessary underneath.
I'm not as concerned about the size as a lot of people.
I think the change in scheme has lessened the need for a big bodied center. I think athleticism is needed more honestly. Motum/ Bjornstad will be our “bigs” for scoring and Casto/Watson will be our “bigs” for power. We’re going to have 6’9 guy in the 3 guard spot next year too.
Bone's system
I really think he wants to go 4 guards and an athletic big. Look at his recruiting and the way the pac-10 is. You don’t see dominant bigs anywhere, really. Look for 6’8-6’10 athletes. He needs/wants scorers, especially at the guard position.
ha pretty much what i said :)
On offense he likes 4 guys on the perimeter with 1 in the middle… and on defense he like man-to-man and a 1-3-1 zone…
