Ken Pomeroy posted player stats, as well as game probabilities. He has us 5th in the Pac at 8-10 (18-12 overall), and also interesting to see we are ranked 333 in experience (.94 years!)

So I'm not totally sure how the predictions work

Maybe Nuss will address this in his next update. Did anyone notice that we are projected to sweep UCLA? Be swept by UW and ASU? Split every other series? Maybe the kool-aid I bought was bad, but I don’t know about all those splits.

I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. Ugh

It's kind of funny....

going into the season, everyone was hyping UW’s back court, but their back court doesn’t really scare me at all.

The only team that REALLY stands out as being horrible this year is UCLA, though I haven’t seen OSU, Stanford, or USC play yet. I’m going to shoot for the stars and hope that WSU wins the conference title—and if we don’t, I’ll shrug it off as youth ;)

Isaiah Thomas and Quincy Pondexter doesn’t scare you at all? Not even a little bit?

Scares me a little bit.

Isn't Pondexter more of a small forward than a guard?

When I think of uw guards I think of Overton, Thomas, Gaddy, Suggs and Turner. There doesn’t appear to be a dominant team in the Pac 10 this year, but the uw and Cal still are the favorites.

Yeah, I guess

He’s a wing player, but I suppose his rebounding stats would suggest he profiles more as a forward. But he is the same height as Klay …
