Makes me wonder about our chances
We currently stand at 8-2 in the Pac-10, which is considerably better than most of the league. Let’s say we get through LSU and Portland State and finish the non-conference season with 10 wins. Then, we go on to split our conference schedule. That would put us at 19-11. Then we win a Pac-10 tourney game and lose one, which puts us at 20-12.
Tension building … wait for it …
Shouldn’t that get us into the tournament? Of all the teams in the Pac, we seem to be best suited in the win/loss category now, to make the tournament later. Am I way off base?
I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. Ugh
9-9 in the pac-10 will not get you in this year
Not with how bad the teams are. I think for us to get in, we need to beat PSU and LSU, then go at least 11-7 in the pac, and go 2-1 in the Pac-10 tourney. That is 23-10, and that is a little dicey. If you go 12-6 and finish 3rd in the pac-10, I would feel more comfortable.
