That's sad
It always makes me happy.
My new favorite part: how nuts Daven Harmeling is going in the crowd

I agree, for once, this did not help
The more and more I think about the game, I get madder and madder. The more time goes by the angrier I get. Usually I cool off when time goes by, but this one is not. This was horrible, and the Pac-10 should be embarrassed.

This is what I feel like today.
We are the cougar.
The duck represents not only the ducks but the pac ten as a whole.
Sad thing is, the Ducks could care less
They’ve got a Rose Bowl to play. In seven years of going to WSU/Oregon games, I’ve noticed Duck fans travel surprisingly well. Not tonight.

PDX News
Here’ s the scoop from our local news in the NW state that starts with an O.
I spoke to someone who covered the game in Pullman and they said that the reason the Cougars were called for the technical was that time out wasn’t called and the Ducks were trying to inbound the ball under the basket. The Cougar players had come on the court and the game was still not over. In the second OT, Washington St. immediately called time out…so therefore it wasn’t a technical if the players had stepped onto the court because play had been stopped.
I still don’t think they should have called the Technical on Washington State. The officials should have cleared the floor and let them finish the final ticks of the clock.
Grippi had quotes from the ref.
They said the rule was that the ball was still live on the Casto basket. Since Armstead was fouled on his lay-up, it was a dead ball so the rule doesn’t apply. It wasn’t actually an unsportsmanlike call, it was basically too many men on the ice call.
Still, 100% bullshit. Have some fucking discretion, it’s 0.3 seconds left. Show me when, ever, a team has gone full court to win with 0.3 left.

I didn't get the chance to watch the game.
I had no idea what happened until I read all the comments five minutes ago. I am so pissed. I don’t know if I can bring myself to watch the replay. SO FREAKING PISSED. I won’t get over this for a while. I will always look at our record and know there should be an extra win there. I won’t be able to sleep. Pac Ten refs continue to earn their awful reputation.

I didn't get to see it.
But in a season where we need every possible win, this couldn’t piss me off more. What scares me is the rage I would feel if we are a win shy of the tournament. As a closet Duck fan, I want UO to lose every basketball game for the rest of the season out of principle.

It was a BS call that never gets called, but like the Jake Locker thing
If our guys didn’t run 10 feet onto the court, we probably get the win. It’s horrible discretion and doesn’t seem fair given the heat of the moment and such little time left, but the fact remains our guys should not have been out there on the floor and they cost the team.
The refs deserve a lot of blame, but there were about 10 other guys that did not go onto the court from our bench, so those two guys deserve a small portion of the blame.
