Alfred named All-Pac-10 second team; five others honorable mention
Congrats to Kenny Alfred, who this year became one of my all-time favorite Cougs. Remember when these two teams used to be littered with Cougs? Me too.
In a bit of disappointing news, the world's best punter was relegated to honorable mention. In a move that smacks of Gold Glove reputation voting, Brian Anger was the first team punter. Other honorable mentions: Xavier Hicks, Dwight Tardy, Jared Karstetter and Travis Long.

We were robbed!!!
Brian Anger!! Brian Anger!!! What the hell is this!! It is very clear that Reid was the better punter!! Hell, he was the best in the conference. Toby Gerhart? Pffft!
You're missing the real snub!
How was Reid not included as a Heisman finalist? I, for one, am outraged at the voters

Heisman voters don't understand the advanced statistics that make Reid a solid candidate.
CougCenter WSU's second main blog
i don't get the "honorable mention" list
there’s 3 QB’s, about 8 linebackers, etc., etc,
just recognizes the best players on each team or something?
Which is funny to me
I want to know who thought Xavier Hicks or Dwight Tardy was one of the two best at their position in the conference.
