I don't know if this is 100 percent accurate or not -- and let's not kid ourselves, Cougfan exists to make WSU look good (or better) whenever possible -- but this certainly seems to be the most in-depth investigation of what happened that night. And based off my own experiences with the Pullman police (as a reporter, people! -- sheesh!), none of what Cougfan is reporting would surprise me one bit if it turns out to be true. The Spokesman-Review's three-paragraph treatment of the story as the third item in a roundup ought to tell you how big of a deal this actually was.
