If you know anything about sports

You know a goal behind the blue line in hockey is incredible. That is like a half court shot to win the game. But it should have been number 2 instead of that crappy reverse lay in in a blowout below-mid-major game. That wasn’t even a dunk!

So who can wait until the 2 hottest teams in the Pac 10 meet up on Saturday in Seattle?

I think the students were louder for this game than the gonzaga game a couple years ago.

ok

all things considered, is that Rochestie’s career shot? I know fans are prone to hyperbole after big games, but could you ask for a bigger exclamation point on a career?

Tony Bennett for Heisman!

it is

He’s not likely to spend a lot of time in the NBA, if any. It kills me to say it, but that’s how it is. He could have a very successful career in Europe, but he’ll probably never have another moment with significance like this.

Of course the season isn’t over yet…

I'll agree with that

Tony’s mentioned it before, and Taylor and his family clearly have strong feelings about WSU. Assuming that Coach Tony is around for a few years, or his successor is from one of his assistants, I would see Taylor being a Grad Assistant/lowest man on the totem pole within the next 5-6 years.

It depends on how far he wants to pursue a pro career

A guy like him could linger pro leagues around the world for years.

But look at Robbie, he could have played somewhere, but chose a different route based on his priorities.

So ESPN spent all night talking about this game and teased it constantly.

But then it was only the No. 3 play of the day, and I find that weird. Especially since #1 was basically a goaling screwing up.

Baynes Block

I have to say that block Baynes made above the rim is one of the cleanest and best blocks I have seen in a while. I would be embarrassed if I was the other guy. I need to see a clip of that again. Does anyone have video of that block? Post it Please!

Don’t count Taylor out of the NBA yet. He could be a long shot, but he has defended some of the best point guards well. I know it is partly our defensive system, but he has held his own with some of best point guards. I would love to see him get chance in the NBA. He will probably have to go the NBADL first.

I don’t want to be selfish, but I think he would be a heck of recruiter and assistant coach at WSU. Just think of all the Cali talent he could bring in. He understands the great mystic of Pullman. He would be like “Wojo” at Duke.

Look at how much the state did for itself tonight

It pains me to say some of this but…

WSU- gets another big upset in OT on senior night, improving postseason chance.
UW- wins pac-10 title
Gonzaga- runs the table in the WCC

wow

I saw the score of the game, watched it on sportscenter, but hadn’t really seen it until this video.

Our men’s team lost to ucla on another Pac-10 ref special, our women’s team also lost to ucla and one of our stars may have seriously injured her knee, even my hockey team lost tonight. But I’m smiling now.
