Tonight's Player of the Game is...

De'Angelo Casto!

For the Coug's to win tonight, they have to be aggressive, and not just the normal defense that has made them #1 in the nation in shooting defense.  They need the Casto aggression - that look and attitude that will make Collison scared to death of driving the lane.

Baynes has that same mentality, and is a great defender, but when Casto is running on all cylinders, the whole team becomes more aggressive.  That drive to dunk last night by Casto was the seal on the coffin for the Ducks.  That put not just the momentum, but the attitude of the game fully in the Coug's favor.  (not that there was any chance of the Ducks winning that game, but I digress).

If Casto and Baynes make the lane impenitrable, then the Coug's can win this game.  Last night proved that Rochestie and Thompson don't have to carry this team offensively if everyone is executing.

Tonights starting lineup should be:

Rochestie, Thomspon, Baynes, Forest, and Casto.

I'm still not impressed with Capers yet, but time will tell.  and if Koprivica plays more than 1 minute, we should just let my daughter Maddie play, too.  God knows at least SHE can make a layup! (even if the basket is only 4 feet high!)
