Not sure what to expect from this. The number to call is 509-335-4700 and the meeting ID# is 97826847. If you have nothing to do this evening, it could be interesting.

more or less

NIT has some terrific teams this year, people who say it’s second rate don’t really understand how comptetive and valuable it is for a team like WSU that isn’t used to tasting postseason play

Very tough to play at St. Mary’s, the students will be rowdy

The good thing about St. Mary's

Is that they feel that they should be in the NCAA’s and don’t want to be in the NIT. Meanwhile the Cougs feel that they’re lucky to be here. Between two teams that may be this even, that may be the big difference.

is patty mills a senior?

I can imagine that they’ll want to send out their star with a bang

hopes seniors will be steadying force for the freshmen (notes that Harthun will probably play an important role)

Mills

Mills is a sophomore.
Looking forward to seeing us take on a team outside of the Pac Ten.
Hopefully, some fans will alter their spring break plans and show up.

I'm sure we won't get many tickets

St. Mary’s will have no problem selling them to Gaels fans

Did anyone see Vitale vs. Bilas?

It’s clear Vitale will be behind St. Mary’s since he feels Arizona getting into the dance was the wrong choice and St. Mary’s should have been in. A great debate between Vitale, Digger Phelps and Jay Bilas.

Digger makes a great point, though. Mills was horrendous against Gonzaga the last time and ever since he went down to injury they haven’t been the same team…

That may be the most hilarious video I’ve seen in a while. I can’t stand Dick Vitale.

Vitale should stick to what he knows

Which is screaming about basketball games — not screaming about the Tournament. I don’t always agree with Bilas, either, but at least he can be logical and rational. And I especially love the fact that he refused to get run over by Vitale.

By the way

I posted the YouTube clip to the FanShots. Classic.

Vitale is almost to tears

I love it. “26 wins!” None of which came against NCAA at large teams.

When I think of Vitale I think of....

Duke and UNC. Period. He doesn’t have an objective bone in his body.

Re: When I think of Vitale I think of....

Exactly. Vitale is all over Duke and Carolina for being the end-all, be-all of college basketball. Which is why it was so surprising to see him “play his Duke card” like he did.
