Question for the Great Nuss-dini (or anyone else)
I am biding my time watching Davidson & SCAR and shaking my head at all the scrappy (at times, sloppy) play (a patronizing demeanor that I have acquired as a Bennett Ball fan), I keep wondering about the probability of truly beating St. Mary’s, SCAR, or Davidson as teams completely different than us. Do games really come down to either hot or cold shooting by them or us, or do we have an advantage over them in the discipline and game plan factor (since so much of their points come from one showboat player or lucky drives)?
I think the advantage comes down to teams unfamiliar with how to beat the pack defense
We’ve been able to hang with some pretty good nonconference teams over the past couple of years because of that simple fact. Them being different from us is much more of a problem for them than it is for us.
Thanks!
I kinda thought that, but I always get frustrated when we can’t handle a fast team (i.e. the Huskies this year). Yet, these teams are not the Huskies. If we can beat St. Marys, I feel pretty confident against Davidson & SCAR.
I can't believe how many open seats there are at the Notre Dame game!
C’mon! If you are an Irish fan, I thought you were obligated to go to an Irish game on St. Patrick’s Day. Lame!
