That's right, I'm using roman numerals. Deal with it.

I bet my cousin 15 bucks
that there would not be four Pac-10 teams in the sweet 16. Seemed like easy money before the tourney. Now, i’m in the awkward position rooting for/against pac-10 schools. I think UCLA, UW, AZ (facing a 13 seed), and USC could all win. ASU will have a tough time with a seasoned Syracuse. I could see only 1 team advance, and I could see all 5. Should be fun…
These refs are really picky
In the Pac 10, any time you get a defender in the air and then sort of jump into him, that was a foul. Too bad for DC.
Tony Bennett for Heisman!
the defender definitely jumped towards him

Exactly. Collison did exactly what you need to do to get that call.

I only caught the last ten seconds of the X Men Origins trailer
And I immediately thought it was a spoof.
Tony Bennett for Heisman!
So I guess UCLA has turned into a team that chucks threes early in the shot clock.

hmmm
Howland needs to get control of his team

UCLA isn't use to not getting all the calls
They are out of their element.
I'm not feeling these coke zero commercials
So coke brand managers are upset that a sub-brand is doing well?
Tony Bennett for Heisman!
Really? I think they're kinda clever.
Coke Zero tastes so much like Coke that there must be something illegal….
Just saying.
And Coke Zero DOES taste amazingly like Coke.

I guess the upshot is that Villanova cannot possibly play any better than this
http://www.spartyandfriends.com/
Nova made a statement early....
By putting Collison on his butt. I thought it was something the Cougs should have done with him too in the Pac-10 tourney.
Every possession is starting to become critical for Ucla
You can just see how they are playing kind of tight. Missing foul shots isn’t helping the cause.
Collison needs to take over. These other idiots are playing terribly.

agreed
Shipp is also starting to show signs of life

Same old axiom....
Ucla has to finish strong this half and whoever starts the 2nd half the strongest probably has a major advantage. It needs to be Ucla. It takes a lot of energy to climb out of a hole this deep.
I got to see three of them, all National Champs under Wooden
Didn’t realize at the time how special it was. I sure do now.
That is disgusting
Never show that commercial again

I got up and said
“what the hell happened” I think I may be losing my first Elite Eight team this morning.

I'm not sure what the stats say but....
Ucla started out kind of like the Cougs did against them and St. Mary’s. Nova is being very physical with them too.
This is not a very typical Ucla team....
In the discipline department. Playing in Philly isn’t helping either.
Nova isn't intimidated at all....
I think they realize Pitt, UConn, Louisville, etc. are much better teams than Ucla is this year.
That enterprise commercial makes me blush
dirty

That Illinois / Carolina commercial is a really good one....
Kudos to the person that came up with it.
I Like the UConn / UW one better
That is a moment you gotta love to relive

Oh yeah, much better, totally agree
Wait til UConn does it to them for the third time, and it will happen. I don’t see how they can avoid it again.
Holliday is an idiot
He is killing UCLA right now

They aren't a very good team today
Not typical of a Ucla team. Didn’t they play similar to this against USC in the Pac-10 tourney?
I believe west coast teams playing before noon their own time lose something like 90% of the time.
That’s pretty ridiculous scheduling.
Whenever you can shoot 22 more shots with a better shooting%
your going to win big.
When I saw that Ucla had to play Nova in Philly....
I factored in the travel immediately. It’s the same for NFL teams as well. It’s a really tough adjustment. Traveling west is not a big deal, but going east really is. I also thought ASU would lose to Temple because of that very reason as well, having to go all the way to Miami.
The difference there is
temple isn’t from Miami like Nova is from Philly. Now UCLA knows what its like to play a postseason tournament game that’s essentially on the road.
This first round of games today isn't holding my attention
But I’m excited for the Washington game and the Gonzaga game.
Zags will be a fun one
UW will probably be a closer one though, it could go either way
Tony Bennett for Heisman!
UW looks like they need to settle down a bit
But they play at a breakneck speed, so slowing it down may not be in their best interest. They just look a little out of sorts.
Followed by the Purdue flop
and then an Overton flop….I really get annoyed with venoying
he has that patented

I wish they would outlaw that move in college
If that’s all you can bring on D you shouldn’t get rewarded for making it an art form.
The other move the dub is famous for is grabbing the ball after every made shot
and flipping it to an official
That's what IT brings them.
Get to the middle, kick out.
When you root for the Pac-10
Do you include rooting for UW? Or are they exempt from our Pac-10 aspirations?
they are exempt
The general rule I like to follow is:
I hope UW loses every game in every sport for the rest of eternity

I get suckered by the softball team
mostly because I coach and also because we don’t have a team at WSU
Are you a born-again Coug?
What kind of music did they play when the heavens opened for you?
I've always been a true Coug though....
Just didn’t realize how deep the hate for the Crimson was from the Husky side of things until recently. I love saying, “Go Cougs” to other Cougs but I don’t like the rude comments out of pup fans in public places. Too much of it is mean-spirited. And I don’t like having my truck vandalized by pup fans either. Not necessary.
I heard the Cougar Fight Song
Of Course I was less than 4 minutes old
It's my ringtone now
It annoys my Husky friend because I won’t answer the phone until the song is over
It probably annoys whoever calls you too
“man, why does this guy always let it ring 10 times before he picks up?”
Brockman spins, rises and...
Off the side of the backboard. :-)
This is where per game statistics go to die.
CougCenter
Washington's D is totally ineffective as is their rebounding on the O glass
Nuss has to be loving this
There's Brockman, grabbing the ball again
If I was Purdue’s coach, I’d tell the officials to put a stop to that NOW!
The sad thing is...
the 7th place Pac10 team could’ve done what the first place Pac10 team did…
Beat MSU and lose to Purdue.
(Hell, we might’ve had the lead at SOME part of the game too) lol
Does anyone else hate Chevy?
I’m so sick of these damn commercials. They are telling us to buy a car because a seven year old likes it. Also, a step on your truck which greatly improves safety is a reason NOT to buy their competitors truck. Safety isn’t manly. Screw safety. I already can’t stand Howie Long, and this makes is even worse.
Rant over.
This is where per game statistics go to die.

I think he'll stop himself
I can’t believe he’ll shoot like this all game. He’ll get tired and start coming up short.
Zags melting under the pressure of March
Haven’t ever seen this before.
Wow that was a finish
The Western Kentucky coach was furious, I think he signalled for a timeout after the make and it wasn’t granted. Refs didn’t give them a chance.
