Paul Wulff hits up Cougar Chats in about 30 minutes

It was noteworthy

that he said their may only been one senior starter on offense. Maybe others knew this already, but it’s nice to know we’ll be better this year and we won’t really lose a lot next year, on offense at least.

I didn't read too much into any of his comments

I mean, it’s not exactly going out on a limb to say that Kenny Alfred might be the only senior starter. I just think he’s trying to foster a culture of competition.

Cougfan, apparently, read much more into what he had to say than I did, though.

The most noteworthy

I thought was the big about using the logos on the helmets. I thought last year he had said he thought the script worked better with the new unis and that is why he was using it. I much prefer the logo on the helmets so I thought it was good news anyway.

He didn’t say anything definitive about the helmets, just said he thought the logo would be more prominent. Sure seems like Cougfan just grasping at news at this point.

Personally? I hope it is the main logo on the helmet. I like the Cougars script from a throwback perspective, but love the way the logo is associated with everything in the athletic department. From a branding perspective, more of the logo is better.
