Wanna give Bennett a piece of your mind?
There is a charter flight to Charlottesville-Albemarle airport in Virginia departing from Moscow-Pullman International Airport at 6 p.m. I'm guessing Bennett will be on it.
If you live in Pullman and want to hurry, you can probably make it.

AHHH so want
to go down there but I wouldn’t know what to do.
Scream at him?
Ask him why he isn’t have a press conference in Pullman before leaving? Ask him why he lied?
All would be acceptable responses.
Maybe just go down there and hold up my zzu crew shirt with a sad face
now it seems like I have problems
I'm gonna take the high road, at least on this one
He doesn’t deserve that kind of effort.
Without his ideals, without his attitudes, Tony Bennett’s just another mediocre D-1 head coach. So long.
We're better than that...
Come on, guys, no need to go do anything rash as the plane is on the runway.
I’m just as disappointed that all of Coach Bennett’s promises turned out to be hot air. But, just imagine if you were in his shoes and someone backed up the Brinks truck for your services (which I’m assuming is what happened)…how many of you wouldn’t take it? I’m going to be honest and say that I definitely would. He’s taking a position that will likely double his salary and provided MUCH better amenities and ability to be successful long term. Regardless of how you think he will do in the ACC, there was arguably no bigger re-building project than WSU when he and his Dad came to Pullman. I’m sure he feels that he’s up to the challenge.
Let’s thank him for the great memories of the last three seasons, and then get on to the buiness of making sure that our program doesn’t bungle the hire like it did when Price left.
And the Brinks truck isn't going to be there in a year? In two years?
If he’s as good of a coach as he thinks he is, he’d make his money one way or another. And I wouldn’t begrudge him in the slightest. But when you leave at this time, in this way? Makes him look rather small.
I don't have a problem with him going elsewhere.
But after all the stuff about wanting to build something, promising players’ mom’s that he would be around, saying how much he loved pullman, turning down good schools and money, all the stuff about character and the 5 pillars. If he knew he was going to use us as a jumping off point, he didn’t have to lie to us about it. All he had to do was just go year by year saying he was happy and he was focused on this year.
You're right Nuss...
But I learned from the Price saga that we can’t get wrapped up in being disappointed every time a coach leaves for “greener pastures.” We all have to remember that we cheer for THE COUGS, not who is coaching them. Besides, for all we know an even better coach who DOES want to stay in Pullman is just around the corner. Ya gotta have faith! Look at Gonzaga (as much as I know you’re not a fan of Few)…Monson left and everyone thought it was the end of the world. Then Few takes them to even greater heights. You never know what may happen.
Trying to find the silver lining…
the silver lining on this one
is thinner then the silver lining on a coors light. If Tony Bennett could feed us B.S. for three years, then ANYBODY can.
That's kind of how I feel right now
Tony Bennett was my last hope for the coaching profession. So much for that.
Chin up, guys!
As Cougs, we know that we will face adversity…this is just another chance for those that stick around (hopefully all of them) to rise to the occasion!
We are going to lose some.
You can count on it. Schools always lose good players in a coaching change.
I would hate to see it
but if Klay does transfer how cool would it be to see him go to an ACC team and pull an ASU performance on Tony twice a year. But seriously, we really really really really need Klay
