New Blog: Anonymous Eagle covering Marquette!

Tony Bennett can have Charlottesville, he can have his Cavaliers, he can have his big contract and the new arena, he can have the ACC and all the glory. But guaranteed, when he looks back on his career someday, he’ll admit to never having what he once had in Pullman.

Classic Jim Moore. Couldn't be more spot on. Why is it that guys can't understand the value in being king? Tony Bennett had a lifetime pass from a fanbase grateful for his mere presence, and he'll never have it again.

He lost faith

I have a hard time with that but it seems like he couldn’t hack it any longer. It isn’t just the fanbase but he can build whatever program he wants to build without really having to look over his shoulder at an hyped up AD, Booster, or Alum. It was all about Tony’s vision. He won’t get that at another BCS conference.

Tony’s comments made me want to puke. UVA is a special place, blah blah blah. Heard it all before about WSU. We weren’t good enough though. He sold-out his players and staff for 700k more. I hope it keeps him warm.

Jim Moore rocks

Sums up this whole fiasco in one sentence. Brilliant.

Reminds me of when Junior left

His dad told him, “No one will love you like your first organization, no one will treat you better.” He was right.
