Last call for Top 10 Cougar Plays

Here I was, getting ready to run down your Top 10 Cougar basketball plays of the year, when I was rudely interrupted by Tony Bennett's departure, then the hiring of Ken Bone a week later.

So - is there a Cougar basketball play that you'd love to see on our Top 10 plays of the year? Better yet, do you have visual evidence of it?

Klay's block on Shipp's half-court shot

Not that it was terribly likely to go in, but Howland said after the game “he’s made them from there before” so it was definitely a heads up play, especially since he didn’t foul Shipp!

I think the sequence of plays where Caleb Forrest single-handedly brought us back into the home game against UCLA deserves some recognition.

I was at this game. And I remember thinking to myself… This is NOT Caleb Forrest! What have you done with Caleb Forrest because this can not be Caleb Forrest.

It was just really insane to see Caleb Forrest break out in this game with a 3 point play and then after the 3pt basket the place was going crazy, as was I. Because before this game, I was sure that Forrest’s shooting range limit was 1 foot in front of the 3pt line since he would always make that classic pump fake and dribble step inside the arc before taking his shot. This game brought Caleb to the next level.
