Klay: "He's still disappointed"

Said it’s because he enjoyed playing for Tony so much. Said this is a new challenge for Klay. Very much talking like Klay really is going to stay.

I still don't like talking about Tony anymore

But Thompson said he doesn’t think economic concerns at WSU played into the decision.

“Whoever they hire, I’m going to go along with it, but my personal favorite is Terry Porter.”

Would Klay consider leaving if he doesn't like the new coach?

“No not at all. As long as it’s not a verbally abusive coach … whoever they bring in, they better treat the young men with respect. … Whoever they hire, speak to the young men with respect and without profanity and those sorts of things.”

Andy Katz had some interesting coments...

Including: Ron Sanchez, who was an assistant at WSU, will come with him. But Ben Johnson, his top assistant in Pullman, is expected to go coach in Australia, according to Bennett.

He also mentions how Ken Bone is the favorite.
