Nik Koprivica on KJR today at 1:35 p.m. PDT
He'll be on with Coug Ian Furness, who interviewed Sterk yesterday. Should be insightful. You can listen online by visiting the link above, then clicking "Listen Live" in the upper lefthand corner.

Is there any way to get a recording?
My computer is acting screwy and it was nice to listen to the Sterk interview yesterday.
Sterk asked Nik and Abe to reassure current players and recruits
Also said Sterk asked players to be involved in the process.
Baynes, Rochestie and Forrest are reassuring players, too
Ironically, Tony’s principles (5 pillars) are what seem to be holding them together right now.
Nik and Abe are keeping in touch with recruits, still trying to get them to campus
He says the guys are surprised, but he believes in the end they’ll still end up on campus.
Was it you, Nuss, that mentioned how disasters can "galvanize" a community?
That was in reference to the Fans and how we came together with this situation, but am I the only one who is optimistic that we could have an extremely strong core of players emerge from this mess? It seems that everything that has happened is forcing the players to rally around each other in a way that may not have been possible with a coach available to rally around.
Yeah, that was me
All things being equal, I’d rather not have my team rally this way … but I think if these guys make it through this together, they’ll be stronger for it.
I think it's also a rallying point for the campus
Granted, I say this 7 years removed from the campus as a student, but the facebook groups and things such as that are a great sign that the campus community is rallying behind these players. Has to help them at a time like this, to feel that the students value them and want them to stay.
This is where Nik might leave his mark on the team/program
As the senior leader on the team, working to maintain unity and reassuring our freshmen something that is invaluable. And while it wasn’t as big a change, many of the older guys were around for the transition from Dick to Tony. They have an idea of what it’s like.
I’m just thankful that we have a program with older players that are still around and believe strongly in being Cougs. Cowgill still being in town is probably another benefit.
