As many of you already know Cory MacKay broke his back in a car accident outside of Washtucna.  Cory was being project as one of the starting DEs for our football team.  I personally was really excited to see him play, but right now I am just glad he is alive.  The reports seem to be getter better each day. 

It was a freak accident and no alcohol or anything was involved.  Reports said that he had fallen asleep behind the wheel after staying up late studying for final exams.  I know we all have been there and that easily could have been one of us.  I know I did this many times and sometimes couldn't remember that last 10 miles I drove.  Like Nuss said we all should think twice about driving tired.  Pull over and take a nap.

He and his family have received tremendous support from Cougar Nation and feel very loved.  We need to keep this up, because this could be quite the process for the Mackays.  Early indications are good, because he is already getting tingles in his legs.  Word is that Mike Utley is going to be visiting him.  That is awesome. 

I love how the Cougar Nation is such a great family.
