Cougs drop regional opener, 10-3

Craig will be along later with the full recap, but I figured I'd give you a spot to talk about it now.

This will be a game where the Cougs kick themselves for their missed opportunities. That debacle of an eighth inning will get all the press, but those of us that watched/listened will remember all the guys we left on base and wonder how the game might have been different had we been up 6-1 going into that inning instead of just 3-1. Would Arkansas have played the small ball that led to the floodgates opening? We'll never know.

The Cougs will now play tomorrow at 11 a.m. against the loser of the Oklahoma/Wichita State game. That game's first pitch is slated for tonight at 5 p.m. PDT, and you can watch it here if you're so inclined.

It's not impossible -- Oregon State showed us that two years ago -- but it's going to be a long road to win four in a row, including a doubleheader on Sunday.

I'm calling it a mulligan....

These kids need to have a short memory. Nothing you can do about today’s game except get ready to tee it up one more time tomorrow. It’s still doable. If you don’t believe you can’t achieve.

Go Cougs!!!

Debbie downer here, but not going to happen for the Cougs

I am hoping that we can at least knock out the pretender WSU and get another shot at Ark and beat them and knock them out. Here’s to Arnold giving 7 because we are going to need it!!
