MLB DRAFT THREAD: Cougs on day three

The MLB First-Year Player Draft concludes today with rounds 31-50, and this is your spot to talk about any Cougs drafted today. We'll bring you a running list below as they picks happen. You can follow the draft here.

So far:

  • Fifth Round (167): Matt Way, LHP (Philadelphia)
  • 13th Round (395): Jeremy Johnson, RHP (Cleveland)
  • 24th Round (717): Alex Burg, C/1B (San Francisco)

Today:

  • 34th Round (1024): Jared Prince, OF (Texas)
  • 43rd Round (1311): Seth Harvey, RHP (Angels)

UPDATE, 12:18 p.m. -- The draft has concluded. Surprisingly, Chad Arnold -- the presumed Friday starter next season -- went undrafted. Catcher Greg Lagreid also was not selected, but there remains a good chance he'll be able to continue his pro career as a free agent somewhere.
