The state's three minutes of ESPN football fame
In case you missed it, here's the three minutes of analytical goodness on the state of football with regards to Washington's universities with Brock Huard.
As an aside, as much as I want to dislike Huard, I just can't. I went to a football camp with him when we were both like 13, and he really is a super nice guy, as is the rest of his family. Too bad he's a Husky.

I retract my earlier comment
about them doing a good job.
Love it
“Where we wish OKC would have taken the huskies instead.”
Huard
Even though he is a Husky, Huard is a class act. More importantly, he decided to have the worst game of his college career in the 1997 Apple Cup (5 picks), Thank God.
Seriously, Warren Moon as the best player from Washington???? Are you kidding me? I don’t mind if a Husky is picked, but it should’ve been based off his college career, not NFL (it’s College Football Live after all)- Mark Brunell or Bledsoe would have been better picks than Moon.
Really?
They couldn’t get at least one Coug to kind of counterpoint all of the UW love there. It’s pretty sad when Huard has to highlight WSU and espn could give a shit. I realize the so called “tradition” isn’t here at WSU, but we’ve made some noise, and I think we deserve more mention than we got. As for Warren Moon, hells no, Mel Hein or Bledsoe, especially if you want to include NFL careers like they seem to have here.
Gesser has way too much swagginess for ESPN.
I never really liked the old tagline.

State of Washington = UW
I like how the espn guy didn’t feel he had to directly say it, but by the state of washington he really just meant the huskies. Gotta give Huard credit for at least trying to bring us into the conversation though.
MAN

Couldn't agree more
