The coaches' poll is out

Some Pac-10 notables:

4. USC
12. California
14. Oregon
25. Oregon State
Also receiving votes: UCLA (14), Arizona (3)

40% of the Pac represented in the Top 25 is a good showing. USC should be a tiny bit lower, Cal should be a tiny bit higher, but hey, you can't expect the "coaches" (by that I mean the coaches' representatives that actually fill out these things) to know everything about everything. And look, Notre Dame's in the poll! No bias whatsoever!

And just to point out one more cynical thought, thanks to the mess that is the BCS, this poll matters. Even though it really shouldn't.
