quote of the week
His last statement… about Wilson and the fact that there’s even more talent at WR that’s gonna redshirt plus more coming in….
We’ve got something special brewing here, we’re gonna be able to throw the ball extremely well.
now we just need to make sure we have some talent at O-Line filling the pipeline as well to make sure there is time to throw that ball extremely well.
Why do I get the feeling
that he inspires little to no confidence in his team?
Obviously how he acts a press conference is different from in the locker room, but just reading his body language I get the feeling he has given up on any chance of beating Oregon.

That's his normal body language in a press conference
He’s actually gotten better with the press, too.
How much does press conference personality really matter?
I guess it matters to the press and to the fans, but does it really make any difference in the big picture? I don’t know.
I remember the bits and pieces that local TV would show from Chuck Knox’s press conferences when he was coaching the Seahawks. If you listened to a Chuck Knox presser you has an 85% chance of falling asleep, but his players seemed to love to play for him.
"A bad day at the track is better than a good day at the office."
it matters when the team is bad
people look for any reason to pick things apart.
amateur body language analysis is my least favorite part of internet fandom. check some game threads last basketball season about Ken Bone and Klay Thompson’s demeanor.
