It's a winter wasteland around Seattle -- or, as the Twitter kids call it, #snOMG -- but tonight's game at KeyArena between WSU and Portland is going to go on as scheduled at 7:30 p.m., according to WSU.
If you're thinking about going, be sure to check the WSDOT site to see what you're up against. My guess is that you won't have much of an issue getting there, given that the roads are thawing to a certain extent with everyone driving on them. It's when the sun goes down and it freezes again that it could get ugly. So just be safe.
I don't know if I'm going to brave the elements or not. My fan side and my pragmatic side are currently having a fight.
One idea I'm considering: Taking the Link Light Rail from Tukwila to Seattle, then taking the Monorail from Westlake to the Seattle Center. It's an idea for those of you who live in the South Sound like me.
