AUDIO: CougCenter Podcast, Episode 25

Back for our weekly yakkity yack. Among the thing discussed are the nice win over Arizona and whether the success can be sustained, the emergence of Brock Motum, whether the defense has truly turned a corner, and whether a sweep on the road in the Bay Area is actually plausible.

Oh, and we also hereby put a moratorium on "Klay is the worst player ever" comments. Prepare to be lectured.

As usual, you can listen to the audio via the player below, or visit our podcast page for myriad ways to subscribe to all of our audio, including Ken Bone's weekly press conferences. You can also find us in the iTunes directory under keyword "CougCenter," or simply click this link. The advantage of subscribing? Besides having the audio directly delivered to your player of choice, I often upload the audio to the podcast site before posting it here.

I agree with you Nuss

I could definitely see us winning both games. Not saying we are going too, but I feel better then I did when they came up here.

I also agree on the moratorium on Klay bashing

Our baby boy is growing up and having some growing pains. Let it happen and you’ll be happy in the long run

Double Amen

It is never appropriate to bash amateur athletes.

They aren’t professionals and deserve nothing but our support. Especially when they are COUGS!!!

Go bash some Huskies if you want to put down college players.

Im ok with pointing out flaws in their games

And in the heat of the game some bashing does happen but over the top things are unnecessary. This is especially true when it becomes repetitive and personal

This is a subject that I just posted about on on Sounder at Heart

There are so many anonymous mean-spirited people that sit behind keyboards ripping apart everything and everyone they don’t agree with. There are times when a negative post is OK because it is good satire when used correctly.

Even when good intentions do not come out quite right or it isn’t the way that a fan wants it, they rip him a new one.

Anyway, one of the many reasons that I like Cougcenter are that most of the people on this site tend to be generally nice people, the exception being me, of course. ;)

We're all mean and angry people

OK, maybe not so much.

I also should explain what I meant by pointing out flaws/bashing.

Bad: BROCK MOTUM SUCKS!
Good: Brock Motum is playing terribly lately. He’s putting up a 2.1% D Rebound percentage.

I was more trying to point out that they do as much as humanly possible

To distance themselves from the fact that they play their home games in a curtained off barn. If it looked OK on TV, then they accomplished their goal.
