AUDIO: CougCenter Podcast, Episode 26
Well, if the goal of GoCougs was to get us to talk about the best places on campus to live for the first 16 minutes of our podcast, then his sneaky little ploy worked.
If you're not interested learning about that or (if you're an alum) taking a little trip down memory lane with us, our actual sports-related content starts at around the 16:15 mark, when we dive into the potential of Bill Moos as our next athletic director. From there, we talk about the losses in the Bay Area and preview UCLA and USC.
I realize it's only a couple of hours until tipoff for this. Sorry -- I screwed up in bringing my laptop home from work on Tuesday, so we had to record late last night and I wasn't able to get this mixed until after school.
As usual, you can listen to the audio via the player below, or visit our podcast page for myriad ways to subscribe to all of our audio, including Ken Bone's weekly press conferences. You can also find us in the iTunes directory under keyword "CougCenter," or simply click this link. The advantage of subscribing? Besides having the audio directly delivered to your player of choice, I often upload the audio to the podcast site before posting it here.

Notable Alumni from Scotty Co
I was there at the same time as Kyle Basler. I still cannot forget how big that guy was. The only punter I can think of that could have played linebacker.
He sure hit like one
Some of my favorite memories are him decleating return men

Wow guys, thanks so much! A ton of great stuff there.
I can promise you that if I do go with Streit-perham, I’ll gladly be cougcenter’s freshman athletic correspondant.

Agreed
It got remodeled. Plus its really close to Flix which is the only place to get food after 7:30.
It's still as far away from everything on campus as humanly possible
And I assume the RAs still treat you like you’re in high school, as they did when I was there. If I wanted to be mothered, I would have gone to Washington …
I'm not don't worry.
One year in the dorms and I’m outta here. How was CCN? Me and some other guys are taking a serious look at it for next year.
Cougar Crest!!
We looked down on all you CCN and CCS losers!
Just kidding, but I did love Cougar Crest. Amazing view and the management is great. CCN is just as close to the ZZU, which is a good bar.

CCN? Depends on your eductional goals ... and your neighbors
Living in four-person apartments around lots of other people with four-person apartments … let’s just say certain things tend to happen that aren’t real conducive to studying.
And I loved just about every minute of it.

It's too bad they cracked down on the CCN courtyard parties
Those were fantastic

We had back-lawn parties at Cougar Crest...
Barbeque and beer. Like Nuss said, not conducive to studying, but seriously good times.
