Evil 59, Good 52
Player of the Game: DeAngelo Casto. 19 points on 50% shooting, made all three free throws, had 6 rebounds and a block. No turnovers.
Unsung Hero: Nikola Koprivica. 6 points, a team-high 8 rebounds, 3 assists and no turnovers on senior night.
Play of the Game: Nik's three to pull WSU within one with 14:16 remaining. Beasley was already electric in the early minutes of the second half. This set the place on fire.
It was over when... Reggie Moore turned the ball over trying to draw a foul in the lane with 13 seconds to play. The Cougs were already down by four.
Stat of the Game: WSU held UW to their third lowest offensive efficiency rating (87.6) of the season. In the previous meeting Washington posted a rating of 117.7. Hopefully we can take the defensive performances from the past two games down to Oregon, and start a new trend.

I was under the impression that good always overcame evil.
WSU Sports
I did not realize this until someone else said it on another site but our football team finished last, our basketball team is now in last and our womens team is in last place.
At least baseball is 5-0.
Volleyball was pretty good this year
Man, what a tough slate though. The good news is it can’t get much worse can it?
Incorrect
Actually, women’s b-ball is ninth as they are 2-14. OSU is 1-15.

Plus, don’t forget that women’s soccer and volleyball did well this year. Also, last year the Cougar’s rugby team went to the final four, baseball also made it to the playoffs.
Further, crew has done exceptionally well:

Of course, those are not the big name games, but take what you can right now.
In the words of Alexander Pop:
Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never Is, but always To be blest:
The soul, uneasy and confin’d from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.
Sorry on the womens basketball
But who was Oregon States one victory against…….Washington State.

How did people think the crowd was?

The crowd.
The crowd was awesome during the comeback and lead of the second half. I haven’t felt that much intensity in Beasley for a couple years and I loved it.
Unfortunately the crowd died down later, and of course wasn’t the greatest in the first half, and I was very disappointed to see a lack of energy from most of the ZZU CRU execs who were handed front-row seats.
I had to fight for my front row seat
And I was yelling at people for sitting or not yelling in the front rows.

Exactly.
I was jumping and yelling pretty much the entire game and could barely stand afterwards. My legs are actually slightly sore today. Haha.
Voice is soooooooooo hoarse

I am right there with you
My legs are tired and my voice is gone. But I had a great time and would do it again in a heart beat. However the ZZU CRU execs made me very upset as well. There was more then once when I saw them sitting down during the fight song which is completely inexcusable, especially when they got front row showing up two hours before the game and we waited for almost 30.
Word
Part of being a ZZU CRU rep should be getting there as early as everyone else.

As a Husky
The crowd was good from the start, but like most home crowds when the opposition opens up a quick 10 point lead you guys got quiet. What got me worried was the second half. As soon as you guys got back in it, the place erupted with every shot (especially Nik’s 3). I felt that if we didn’t hit some quick shots (the 3’s did the trick) the crowd might take over and propel you to a win. Overall it was a great atmosphere, aside from the students default chant, which leaves much to be desired…

It's all good, and I appreciate the comments.
Sorry for the chants, but sometimes the way the UW players were acting in warm-ups it was as if they were asking for it. I for one didn’t take part in the F the Huskies chants, but everyone around me did. I think thats what part of it was. I sit in the front row on the side the opposing team warms up every game and UW is the only school that had ever talked trash to us during shooting drills. I still don’t agree with them as I didn’t do the chants so I am sorry for that.
Besides that how did you feel about the student section? I’m trying to figure out how to improve it for next year.

It was good when the going was good
,but I really think you guys have an advantage when it comes to size of student section and you have to find a way to utilize that. Coming from the Dawg Pack I am used to a smaller section and had forgotten how large of an area you guys are alloted.
