Maybe we should start sending the the Eugene P.D. some checks.
Or, for that matter, the Pullman P.D.
Are we taking bets yet on which game Oregon decides to reinstate Masoli for the 2010 season.
Because, well, at that point he has learned his lesson and Oregon might be in a skid.
I'd be incredibly surprised if they reversed course on this one
Kelly had a ton of time to figure out how he wanted to handle it. I see the Blount situation as completely, totally, 100 percent different.
Im gonna say halfway through the Civil War
The statement will be something like “The kid realizes that he did something wrong and has been working hard.”
It isn't going to happen
Besides the difference Nuss noted, there’s a positional difference as well. With a RB, you plug them in and they run. With a QB, it’s not like he can all of a sudden decide to plug Masoli back in. Each QB has a unique way of operating in that system and he usually tailors the system towards the QB (Costa, pocket passes. Masoli, zone reads, etc). He’s just not going to all of a sudden throw Masoli back in. Besides that, this is probably the last you see of Masoli in a Duck uniform. Once he’s sat a year, one of the younger QBs will probably be entrenched as the starter, if Masoli doesn’t transfer first.
