The best part is the discussion.

Some new ATQ commenters really missed the point.

That was an unintended consequence of it

I figured I laced it with enough sarcasm and satire (and made it a form letter) that it would be obvious without hitting you over the head. The comments are the best part of it all, especially the guy that replied to a couple of my comments with digs about Ryan Leaf.

Also, Andy Staples did an amazing job with his satirical piece about Kelly.

Yes.

I knew it was coming as soon as I read the title, which is probably about as much as those “confused” posters did (At least I hope for their sake).

If this piece were a plane...

It would be flying right over the heads of many a duck.

I can't believe you wrote

this post and embarrassed cougar nation. Are you just trying to set us up to be picked on? Now we are going to hear Ryan Leaf comments all next season. You should really think before you post. I am embarrassed as a cougar. Didn’t you read CougCenter’s mission statement.

Did you really think that flew over a Cougs head? I almost had you, didn’t I?

Nice job on the satire. I really enjoyed the comments section…especially Nathan Rose. I really can’t believe you beat up an Iraqi vet in the parking lot.
