Deadspin finds the Craigslist of College Basketball
I found this amazingly interesting. I can't tell you why, but I did. Look to see who is available and who is looking for open dates. It's also interesting to see how teams are "marketing" themselves - sometimes as losers, sometimes as guaranteed money ... fascinating.
EDIT NUSS: Did nobody notice yet that WE WERE IN THERE last year? Guess we ended up filling those dates ... are in there for this upcoming season? (Thanks cougfan for noticing.)

I saw that earlier today
It’s funny to know how some of these matchups come about. I hope there’s not an intimate encounters section of that site like there is Craigslist….

IPFW and EWU filled two of those dates and the GAS filled the Nov 19-Dec 1st.
Also interesting to me, Curtis Allen is handling the scheduling which was Sanchez’s job before.
Wait a minute...
Those are for NEXT season. I’ll be curious what that schedule looks like when it comes out

Fascinating
It does feel a lot life craigslist.
However, it was rather humorous for me to see that one of my old high school teachers recruiting for a home and home series at Portland State. I hope I never see a posting like that on craigslist.
I can only imagine how much these officials hate that this is getting out
It’s going to be like prank call galore for opposing rivals all over the place…
I wouldn't be surprised to see the site disappear or become private
It’s kind of weird that it’s a public site and wasn’t hidden behind logins and such. I guess this is the easiest way, but it makes for some easy hijinx, going further than prank calls.

Anyone else see the name of Tulane's contact?
On a serious note, it seems hard to believe that this is how these deals get done. This system seems awfully easy to prank.
