If you want to watch the games on CBS March Madness On Demand, click here.

Seriously, 16 games today and this one is on its own little island? Weird.

Next Game

(12) UTEP Miners
@ (5) Butler Bulldogs

Thursday, Mar 18, 2010, 1:55 PM PDT
NCAA Tournament - West Region - First Round - HP Pavilion - San Jose, CA
Kenpom: Butler 65-63

Butler is the team that messes with your bracket every year. UTEP is Mike Price's school. Whose basketball team is superior to the other basketball team?

OMG

I cannot believe in this day and age there is only one mildly entertaining basketball game on. What a load of crap.

Butler took away Carracter

And is on fire from deep. This isn’t good

my biggest mistake

was listening to the over hype of UTEP. What they heck was I thinking. What I’ve learn today, go with smart teams and not athletic teams. Street ball teams look horrible when it comes to the tourney. Darn it!

by defunkmusic on Mar 18, 2010 4:01 PM PDT reply actions

I'm with you

But I saw Digger Phelps pick Butler last night and changed to UTEP. Whoops

by Brian Floyd on Mar 18, 2010 4:02 PM PDT up reply actions

Chalk it up to poor defense

It’s not the “streetball” offense that’s the problem in this one.

by Jeff Nusser on Mar 18, 2010 4:02 PM PDT up reply actions

Most 3's in a first round game

And I think they’ve shot about 30 of them now

my online streaming is all messed up!

screw you CBS

In other news

Some guy on ESPN2 just picked the Huskies over Marquette, claiming to be a pac-10 homer, mentioning things like how “Lenoy Overton” is a great defender.

by Eramm on Mar 18, 2010 4:04 PM PDT via mobile reply actions

i didn't pick the huskies in any of my pools

but i can’t shake the feeling they’re a sweet 16 team.

i just refuse to pick them for anything.

What class is Caracter in?

Bone said he needs a big body, maybe he can get him to transfer.

change the subject

Looking at returning talent in the Pac-10, what are the top 5 teams favored for the Pac-10 next year? Just looking ahead wishing I could take a trip this time next year and watch the tourney in person.

by defunkmusic on Mar 18, 2010 4:11 PM PDT reply actions

Cal loses everything

UW loses Pondexter. ASU loses a big chunk. Oregon loses Porter!

It could be a tossup next year between everyone. Again

by Brian Floyd on Mar 18, 2010 4:13 PM PDT up reply actions

Stanford loses thier man and scorer

UCLA loses their top scorer, but return many great young players, Oregon St. loses 3-4 top players. The window is open.

I got to beleive in Bone

He has a good track record and he know what he need (in players) to win. He game into a program with players that do not taylor his system at all. Not even KT. Reggie Moor and Casto are the closest to his system.

I am interested to see what this JC kid does.

But in my heart I would like to see one more big man come in.

"For Shizell My Mizell" - SoCalCoug

by SoCalCoug on Mar 18, 2010 4:18 PM PDT up reply actions

I agree with him

I really think the JC kid will bring a needed piece to take some pressure off Klay and especially Moore who can focus on being the point guard.

by defunkmusic on Mar 18, 2010 4:14 PM PDT reply actions

7 threes from 1 player

it is hard to have a chance against that.
