Ken Pom has the Huskies winning by 3 (59%).
I’d like to see a large-sample size analysis over who’s more accurate between the two. I have my suspicions, but I don’t know.

I expect to go 3/4 each round to win, and this would be my fifth sweet 16 team. Making that impossible.
I've lost New Mexico, G-Town and SMC from the Sweet 16 as well

EPSN is just as inept.
With 20% of the screen perpetually displaying game scores the Women’s NCAA is painful to see. The ball disappears constantly as do athletes because the damn scoring overlay.

There were a lot of scenarios where I could see Kansas going down
Northern Iowa was most certainly not one of them.

If the live stats are right
That’s the third highest offensive efficiency allowed by Kansas this year. I didn’t see it, so I’m not sure how it happened, but Northern Iowa does not fit the profile of a team that should be able to do that to Kansas.
Anecdotally, it seemed like UNI was good at getting open looks.
And when they did, they fell. Their inside dudes are beasts, too.
Also, best passing I've seen this tournament.
Easily. I remarked to my girlfriend early that all their passes looked weird, unlike other teams, but that ended up working. Some of those thread-the-needle and behind-the-back assists will be in One Shining Moment, I promise you.

@InsideTheBCS says it’s a good thing we don’t have a playoff in college football, because goodness knows we wouldn’t want this.
(Actually, in a weird way, this sort of thing is precisely why there won’t be a playoff anytime soon. Can’t have your best teams not in your marquee events.)
I don't want this happening too often in basketball, either.
I still want marquee teams playing high-quality games in the Final Four, but 25-50% epic upsets early is awesome. As long as those teams are put back in their place eventually.

In about half my pools, I have KSU in the Elite 8.
In the other half, I have BYU in the Final Four.
This one will be, um, important.
BYU is going to miss a shot at some point, I think.
This happened against Florida, too. Gonna be a long game.
I can't believe someone thought this Southwest commercial was a good idea.

When I left earlier my bracket was just fine
Now I owe apologies to Duke, who was my original champion and current favorite

My favorite part of that is where they called UW a "finesse" team
I don’t think they’re dumb. I just think they have no idea what they’re talking about when it comes to teams that aren’t on ESPN all the time.

BYU overplays every passing lane.
Seems like every time the ball goes in, someone bites the wrong way on a fake and then you’ve got someone wide open under the rim.
Well, it's not helping that KSU started slowing down on offense with 6 minutes to go
That, I do not understand.
I heard an interview with John Salley the other day
He said he liked the NBA better than college because the NBA is all about the players, and the college game is all about coaches and referees. I hate to admit it, but it’s pretty much true.
I'll say I may agree with that.
But, I’d prefer it to be about the coaches, so that part’s not really a negative for me.

Not a good day for me. My wife is now in 10th. I’m in 30th. She is officially banned from entering next year.
my wife knows nothing about college basketball except Tony Bennett is hot and games are on during Food Network's new shows

Many of her picks were based on which mascot/team color she prefers.

i had the under on the kentucky game at 149.5. Some scrub off UK’s bench drained a meaningless three at the buzzer to put the game at 150

Yeah, we gotta root for Farokhmanesh. He was born in Pullman. Forget your bracket. It’s about Coug family.
Agreed.
Great story. I think he started at Pullman High, but graduated from an Iowa high school, then floated around in the JC ranks until making it to UNI.
He worked hard to make it in D-1 basketball. Glad to see he got his moment.
