Welcome our newest writer, Brian Floyd
It's not exactly a secret anymore, but we'd be remiss if we didn't make a formal announcement. You all probably know Brian Floyd better as cougfan, and he's the newest writer here at CougCenter.
I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are to have him on board. We're always on the lookout for talent to bring into the fold if it's going to help the site grow, and Brian has certainly proved to be that. He's been actively involved in the CougCenter community for about a year, and in that time he's published more than 60 FanPosts and FanShots, and has left more than 4,300 comments.
But it's not necessarily the sheer volume of what he contributes; it's the thoughtful, articulate way he contributes. Basically, most everything he does fits in perfectly with our stated mission for the site. So, after a short formal tryout in which he essentially blew our socks off, we officially welcomed him into the fold this week.
You can read a short bio here, the link to which will be permanently stationed with the rest of ours to the left of this page. We're also planning on conducting a podcast interview with him so you can hear his voice and get to know him a little better personally. Look for that next week.
So, a very public congratulations to Brian from Craig, Grady and me. We're glad to have you.

I've seen this coming for a few weeks now.
I’m pretty happy he is on staff, and I think it’s pretty obvious he is excited about it.

But we’ve got the corpse of UW’s 0-12 season buried under the floorboards.
