Seriously, we all knew this was coming at some point. My guess is that Larry Scott was doing his due diligence on whether he could really still blow up the Big 12. My guess is that's a year or two away now.

This article had some interesting numbers about national titles
In 43 of 49 years the Pac-10 has lead all conferences in national titles. I knew we were awesome I just didn’t know we were this awesome.

And I still say we call it the 12-Pac. I wonder when the official name change will come? I read somewhere that they were redoing the logo anyway, so it makes sense that they just change the number at the same time.
They've already redesigned it.

Gah! I had hopes that you guys would be better than the OTHER Cougars..
I am 100% certain that was photoshopped by a BYU Cougar fan to add the Utah Drum & Feather logo to the shorts along with the caption in the lower left-hand corner.

You guys sound perfect for the Pac12. Cal, Colorado and a lot of the northwest already wear birkenstocks, eat granola, and hug trees, we are used to it. Anything, next to BYU seems liberal. Jim McMahon must have been the devil there. By the way, when visiting other campuses remember our alcohol content is stronger.

Where did the BYU fan find that photo to photoshop? Someone will have some explaining to do to their council at school. That had to break a BYU rule. Since you are new to us Ute in DC, I just wanted to let you know that our joking is light hearted. I hope you take it that way. We are happy to have in the Pac10. Welcome!

No, I wasn't offended.
More than anything I was making a joke about our rivals being cougars and you guys being cougars. Damn, I hate cougars. And yet, I really have nothing against WSU.
Anyway, SnarrWars, who’s name appears in the lower right corner, is a frequent poster at cougarboard.com and an occasional troll at utefans.net. He posts photoshopped pictures all the time. At cougarboard, they are pictures designed to make BYU look glorious in the way that Daniel Moore used to do paintings of Alabama. If you take a look at his utefans.net profile, you will see that most of his posts there are pictures photoshopped to make the U look bad:
