Basketball Recruits and Changes - Ladd, Noreen & More.

There were reports that Mike Ladd from Fresno State (Rainier Beach HS) was transferring to WSU as a walk on, making him eligible for the 2011-2012 season.  Reggie Moore posted a tweet on his twitter account, which was quickly removed, indicating that was Ladd coming to WSU.  I noticed he still has a couple tweets that elude to Ladd coming to WSU, here is one of those tweets.  Scout.com also reports that Ladd is coming to WSU.  There currently is not a updated basketball roster to show all the movement that has happened in the basketball program during this off season, but we know that Watson, Harthun, Thames, Allen and  Brown are not coming back next year.  Plus, we have influx of new players, to add to our roster.  There is still a possibility that Kevin Noreen will commit to WSU, but he has been looking at all his options, which has become a lengthy list including UW.  Here is an article from the Seattle Times that talks about Noreen and Ladd.  WSU may have a leg up on the Noreen competition, because it has been reported that we offered Noreen's brother Kyle a scholarship for 2011, making them a package deal.

Players Out:

Watson, Harthun, Thames, Allen, Brown and Koprivica (Senior)

Players In:

Aden, Simon, Winston, Morgan (walk on), Dilorio (walk on)Noreen (Possible)

Players in or 2011: Ladd, Kernich-Drew, Kyle Noreen (Possible)

I know a lot has changed this off-season and the 2011 class will be a interesting one to watch, as well as the 2012 class, when we will lose Thompson, Casto, Capers, Lodwick and Enquist.  I am interested to see what happens with next year's off-season after seeing all the off-season movement this year.  2011 will probably be the first year we really get to see Bone's system in full effect.
