Then And Now Photos
EDIT NUSS: Bumped because OH MY GOSH THIS IS CRAZY.
If you've read more than two sentences of any off-season article you have probably heard about the weight and strength gains the team has made. Judging by photo's from fall camp it sure seems the team was focused and had some intense workouts. Here is a run down of then and now photos I could find

Thanks man.
I could’ve added even more, but I didn’t want the scroll bar to be longer than a Bill Simmons article. I think the Carpenter photos show the benefit of a redshirt. Last fall camp he looked like a high school freshman. Even though he’s not yoked out of his mind AHE style now, you can still see he’s bulked up.

Karstetter was such a string bean his freshman year.

Does Karstetter kind of remind you of Ed McCaffrey?

That first photo is so priceless
Yay Russell Athletics! Purveyors of junior high sweatsuits and ill-fitting hats.
I have always noticed because of Wulff's size
he has trouble finding a good fitting hat. He is just a big dude. His head his to large for a regular man’s hat. Wulff would crush Kiffin. Harbaugh might be the only one in the conference to have a chance because of his big chin and scrappiness.

Wulff have any eligibility left?

Man
If this was a fitness infomercial I would not believe the drastic change in size.

LOL
I would say the same thing, except I actually broke down and ordered a fitness DVD set, and my before and now pics are remarkable (And I am not even done with the program yet).

Leandre Daniel's helmet
in the now picture looks like it’s a size too big or something
Dan Spitz was suspended for a failed drug test ...
I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. Ugh
true that
but it was a test he took last fall and he was coming into WSU from a summer of ‘fun’ in Spokane. The weight and strength gains are not individual they are team wide. These guys look sculpted and ready for a fight. In fact there have been many already.
I just got back from a summer trip and caught some action on the no pads drills. I have seen practice the past 5 seasons around this time… there is simply no comparison. The gains in size, speed and raw intensity will get your heart going Coug fans.
I was depressed in ‘08 when I watched. Bummed in ’09 that the scout D shoved the 1st team O around in the practices I saw. Now they have SERIOUS speed at DB and LB and I am very impressed with Tuel’s accumen thus far. Jacobsen will not be f’d w/ out there- he is a straight up animal. They are jawing and edgy— reminds me of the 1988 practices and 1992— yep – I go back. Get ready— it is about to get better— not bowl game better maybe- but gimme a few well placed turnovers and we might be thinking that way sooner than we think.

I never noticed before
After seeing this picture he does tower over the other coaches in the Pac. He is a big guy, I think some better think twice before placing negative postings about him. He might just show up on your door. He looks like king kong next to the OSU and ASU coaches
