Turns out Daniels' injury was much worse than expected. C1 neck fracture, he'll wear a halo collar for 8-10 weeks before doctors determine if surgery is necessary but with this kind of injury, doctors determined it wasn't safe for Daniels to play. He will remain on scholarship throughout his time at WSU. My heart goes out to a kid who showed a lot of promise and broke his leg last year, now this. Just an incredibly sad story.
