HOT COUGAR ACTION: Saturday Morning Pregame Links
It's time for another edition of Cougar Football Saturday and this time it's actually in Pullman. I think I heard somewhere we haven't played a home game in Pullman in a while. Can anyone confirm this?
Today's game doesn't kickoff until 7:30 p.m. which is really bad news for the Cougars. This season in games starting at or before 2 p.m. WSU is 3-1. In games which kickoff after 2 p.m., their record drops to 0-5. Blame the guy who assigns the time slots!
Consider this your open thread to discuss any college football happenings, but we will have more before kickoff including my post on the wide receivers performance against Cal. Although you might not want to read that after eating, it's pretty ugly.

Penn State game
Do the fans sing the alma mater arm in arm like that before every game? Pretty cool and I’m sure it has a much larger meaning to those folks today than ever before.
Is Wulff going to talk after the game about who is scheduling these time slots?
People just don’t understand the time slot tomfoolery he inherited. We are still working through these time slot patterns.

tomfoolery?
The time slot changes are dictated by TV. Versus picked up the game and gave it a 7.30 time. TV dictates the time, because nobody can turn down the TV money, least of all WSU. The convenience of the fans doesn’t matter. When the new Pac12 TV contract kicks in, there will need to be multiple time slots so that every game can get on TV. Every team in the Pac12 will have to play home football games on Friday or even Thursday nights. The basketball Thursday/Sat. pattern where, say WSU plays at Cal on Thursday and at Stanford on Saturday will also go away. BKB games may be all over the place.
—-Better get used to it.

Oklahoma State has a buzzsaw offense
But I still think the Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State game will be a heck of a football game. I am predicting Oklahoma since Ok State has no defense. A Stanford win tonight and an Oklahoma win in Stillwater has the PAC 12 back in the national championship game..
online link to Penn St/NEB game anyone?

It's on in Utah on KJZZ
No TV in Washington yet, and there is almost no chance of there being any.
The good news is that it is on TV somewhere, which means that there should be a stream somewhere online.
