If you want to get yourself prepped for the game, take a gander at my preview that is linked above. This will likely be a closely contested contest, and Portland might have a few guys that could give the Cougs trouble. They are not the same team that we saw last year at KeyArena, as their top performers from a year ago are gone (sound familiar?).
Could be lots of efficient offense in this one. Interesting to see how this team comes out for a road game that doesn't have the extra motivation of being nationally broadcast and in a much less intense atmosphere. Come join us as we discuss all the action in the comments!

For the first game last year there were a group of students trying to get everyone to sing the fight song during the introductions

Rough day to be anyone in the Pac-12 for basketball so far it seems
Jabari Brown left Oregon and now word is coming out that Reeves Nelson missed the team bus to fly to Hawaii and had to catch a later flight (after being suspended earlier this year in part for being late to a team meeting)

I want to know how they came up with that
I’ve got WSU for 40ish possessions and 43 points. That’s definitely not 1.22 ppp – more like 1.08.
They were way off for the Gonzaga game.
Is it possible they don’t count free throws as possessions? Statsheet does that for their individual efficiencies.

Rebounds per game don't mean much. They rely heavily on tempo.
It would be better to cite that they are gathering a ridiculous 52.3% of their OWN misses. I’m not sure how indicative that is of their true talent though, as they’ve played some athletically overmatched teams.

No worries. That was a great read and I feel a little relieved to hear that a 50 percent free throw rate is rather… Okay to have! I don’t have any idea how I missed the article as I usually read all of Craig’s material. Anyway, Cougs are at 52 percent at the line this evening, but that’s okay!

Point of clarification
Free throw rate = FT Attempts/FG Attempts
Free throw percentage = FT Made/FT Attempts
I meant to say that.
I was reading about FT rates, more in relation to the article that Craig posted, and sometimes I replace words with what I read. Prime example: rate and percentage.
Everything you know is wrong.
Free throw percentage.
Free throw rate is at 56.4 (FTA/FGA times 100)

It's pretty simple
