All Pac-12 teams announced

PrintMarquess Wilson, Travis Long and Alex Hoffman-Ellis are all on second team. The cougs got no first team picks, which isn't terribly surprising except that I think Wilson should be on the first team. Does anyone else think that the leading receiver in yards and second in TDs in the Pac-12 should be on first team and not second? I understand that Allen and Woods are good, but it's hard to see why Wilson wouldn't get the first team nod...

Honestly awards don't matter although its too bad MQW got screwed out of
conference freshman of the year last season and didn’t get the nod this year.

Awards do matter to the players.
And to the coaches recruiting players. 17 year-olds would love to hear something like “You can be first team all Pac-10 if you come to this school, like Marquess Wilson.”

I hated my last job, so I had to find some motivation. So I just did a bunch of extra crap in hopes of getting Employee of the Month. I did, and It was very gratifying.

I understand, that it matter's to Marquess, and I feel bad for him that he didn't get it,
when he certainly did, considering he probably deserves consideration for All-America. I just meant it shouldn’t matter a lot to us, the fan because we all know Marquess is the best receiver in the country.

I feel like this argument has been had on a fanpost before, and I forget where.
And I agree with you, we shouldn’t care about this.
But we love Marquess at an unhealthy level and we want the people we love to be happy.

MQW was robbed
He was 5th in the nation in receiving!!!!! And seemed like 90% of our offense at times. If I was him I would take the award up to the top of Stephenson and drop that bitch.

Their is NO WAY Wilson should not have been first team. He will next year though
