Pac-10 Restructuring Football Officiating: Can I get a Halleluiah!?

The Pac-10 (or is it 12 yet?) announced today that they will be" restructuring" their football officiating. All I can say is "about time!"

According to the Pac-10 website "After a comprehensive review of the officiating program and a request by Dave Cutaia to step down as the Coordinator of Football Officiating, the Pac-10 Conference will restructure its football officiating program…" They are receiving help from former NFL Vice President of officiating Mike Pereira. Pereira will lead the restructuring and act as the interim Coordinator of Football Officiating. While not going into a much detail the Pac-10 said "enhancements to the officiating program will include a new organizational structure, new resources, best practices and training tools." I think I can speak for all Pac-10 fans (yes, I think that highly of myself) when I say "YAYZ!!!" Anyway, just thought I’d throw that out there for people who might not have read about it yet.
